'Save the fish' aims to encourage people
to regulate their own energy consumption.
It provides instant feedback on a household’s energy by raising
and lowering the level of water in a regular fish tank.
The more electricity is used, the lower the water level will be and vice
versa. No one will want to kill the fish, so no one will let the water
level get too low. In doing so, energy will be saved. This project won
second prize at the D&AD Global Student Awards 2006.
