July 2007 - present: DIYKyoto, London. Industrial Designer.

September 2006 - June 2007: A project attempting to ‘design for the environmentally disinclined’; outcomes encouraged people to take up energy efficient behaviours voluntarily. The work and research was featured in national and international press.

June - September 2006: BenQ Siemens mobile, BenQ Lifestyle Design Centre in Taipei, Taiwan. Industrial designer on the mobile phone design team. Participated in every level of the design process, from research to production prototypes, through conceptualisation and refinement. Was also responsible for a number of concept projects aiming to map out the future of BenQ-Siemens design.

2006: Brand/Design consultancy for Unilever’s Lynx/Axe brand. Brand/Design consultancy presenting trend/brand analysis and design concepts to a multinational team of designers, marketing managers and producers. The follow-up project involved collaborating with them to design 2007 product gift packs.

2006: Project with Tetley Tea (UK) to find new and intriguing tea rituals for the British market; two ideas were selected for further for consumer testing and development.

2006: Successful project with Nokia to design a near-future mobile communication device: outcome included a rapid-prototyped fused deposition model. Results were exhibited at Air Gallery, London and ‘allmyfriends’ was covered by BBC Online, Blueprint, Reuters, the Daily Star and ShinyShiny.tv among others.

Good card and foam modeller. Comfortable using both Macintosh and PC operating systems.
